The Beaufort Harbormasters

We are a non-profit organization which seeks to enrich our community with our talent and our treasure through the use of the barbershop style of music.

By use of the links to the left a visitor to this site can learn about the history of the Harbormasters; gain knowledge of our parent organization, the Barbershop Harmony Society; and become acquainted with the barbershop style of music. We describe typical music activities we pursue and show a calendar of scheduled events. We provide a vehicle for contacting us to learn more about us; to visit us at a rehearsal; or to request a performance. As the new year arrives we will be offering Singing Valentine delivery with chocolates, a rose, or some other flower(s) of your choosing.

The chorus and its quartets are available for entertainment at charitable and civic functions and, on request, at private gatherings.

2013 Barbershop Show The Beaufort Harbormasters with the Beaufort Belles will present their annual show on Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13 at 7 PM in the small auditorium at the Beaufort High School. The theme, so appropriate for the Beaufort area, is “When They All Came Marching Home – a musical tribute to the armed forces”. The show will feature four-part, close-harmony music in the barbershop style. The Harbormasters chorus will perform along with the lady barbershoppers (the Belles). Several local Quartets will also be featured. Tickets are $15 for either performance and can be purchased from any Harbormaster or Belle; for personal delivery by calling 843-383-2401; or on a “will-call” basis at the door by clicking HERE
